HMS Castor - C class cruiser

Castor belonged to the Cambrian subclass of the Champion class who were in turn a subclass of the earlier Caroline class of C-Class light cruisers.They were more heavily armoured than the Carolines with a maximum belt of 4" as opposed to the Carolines 3".

Completed in November 1915 Castor was involved in the Battle of Jutland where she was damaged by shell fire and suffered 10 casualties.

Castor is a 1:1200 white metal kit which is supplied unpainted.
