A development of the earlier Sd Kfz 231 8 Rad family, the Sd Kfz 234 family were popular with their users. The Puma was armed with the 50mm Pak 38 cannon in a fully rotating enclosed turret. There were only some 200 odd manufactured before the end of the war.
