The M4A2 was equipped, unlike the other marks, with a diesel engine. It saw a lot of action with the American Marines in the Pacific theatre. It was also widely used by both British and Soviet armies.In British service it was designated as the Sherman Mark V. It was also used as the basis for the DD swimming tank which is available as a separate model.
