First designed as a prime mover for medium artillery pieces such as the 5.5" gun. This diesel engine equipped design was so successful it went on to be used in many forms such as a flatbed and a family of refuelling tankers for the RAF. The basic truck weighed in at a hefty 7.75 tons and had a max speed of only 30 mph but had an excellent off road capability.
