A107 Sherman M4A4

The Sherman M4A4 had a longer hull compared to the previous models in order to accommodate the large Chrysler Multibank engine made of 5 standard car engines using a common driveshaft. It first entered service in 1942 and nearly 7,500 were built.

It was known as the Sherman V in British service and was used as the basis for the up gunned Firefly version which was armed with the fearsome 17 pounder gun.
