The Ordnance Quick-Firing 17 Pounder anti tank gun was a 76.2 mm (3 inch) gun developed by the British during World War II. Not only was it utilised as a towed gun it was also mounted onto various vehicles notably the Sherman Firefly and the Achilles SP gun. On the battlefield the gun was easily identified by its intense white flash muzzle flash
