Arrowhead Miniatures

GFM 304 HMS Caroline

Sold out.

Caroline was the lead ship of a class of 6 light cruisers. Used for scouting ahead of the main fleet these ships were capable of 27 knots. She was armed with 2 x 6 inch guns, 6 x 4in  and 4 torpedo tubes. She was, along with some of her sister ships, present at the Battle of Jutland and is now the only survivor of that action. The model depicts Caroline as at the time of Jutland before her refit with a heavier gun battery.
