HMS Warrior was a pre-war design of 1903-4 belonging to the Warrior class of heavy cruisers comprising Warrior, Achilles, Cochrane and Natal.
When war broke out she was stationed with the Mediterranean fleet and took part in the unsuccessful chase of the German warships Goeben and Breslau. She was transferred to the Grandfleet in December 1914 where she stayed until the Battle of Jutland saw her sunk after being heavily damaged and floundering in heavy seas.
